ATHLETICS: WINNERS EMERGE AT ONE DAY MEET FOR U-15s IN BAYELSA  The Bayelsa State Athletics Association on Tuesday, put together a one day trial for Under 15 boys and girls with winners emerging in various categories. The event was aimed at selecting the best athletes to represent the State at the forthcoming National Youth Games billed for Asaba. UNIVERSITY OF AFRICA'S JUDOKA LOSSES FINAL BOUT AT EKUS NATIONAL JUDO CHAMPIONSHIP Despite being tipped as favorite to clinch gold at the finals of the just concluded 4th Ekus National Judo Championship in Benin City, Edo State, Master Bodou Durham Vincent lost the finals due to injury. The championship, which commenced on July 1, 2025, concluded with the grand finale on Friday, July 5, 2025, XtrymeSports.blogspot.com reports. The University of Africa judoka qualified for the finals in style, amand was tipped to clinch gold, but for injury during the finals, which saw him settle for silver.
