University of Africa Female Team Set for Historic Debut at Prosperity Cup 2026 The University of Africa, Toru-Orua (UAT) female football team is set to make its debut at the 2026 Bayelsa Governor’s Cup, popularly known as the _Prosperity Cup_, as the women’s category officially kicks off on Tuesday, 21st April 2026, across four designated centres in the state. This marks the first time UAT will feature in the female category since its introduction into the prestigious grassroots tournament. Confirming the development in Yenagoa, the Acting Director of Sports, UAT, Dr. Timipa Igoli, expressed delight at the milestone.
