OSOMKIME BLANKSON UNITY TOURNEY HOLDS DRAWS ***As Tournament Kicks Off November 20th Organisers of the maiden Osomkime Blankson Unity Football Tournament for Yenagoa Local Government Area have held the draws for the maiden edition of the tournament. A total of thirty five teams have registered to take part in the tourney that will kick off on the 20th of November, 2025. According to the organizers, the shift in date from September 28th to November 20th was necessitated due to pleas from players and officials owing to the incessant downpour, which will hinder free flow of football, and also deny them from showcasing their skills. The thirty five teams were grouped into four, namely Epie, Atissa, Okordia Zarama Buseni and Gbarain Ekpetiama, as sixteen teams will qualify for the Round of sixteen after the preliminary round. OSOMKIME BALNSKON UNITY TOURNEY GETS DATE FOR DRAWS Organisers of the maiden Osomkime Blankson Unity Football Tournament for Yenagoa Local Government Area have announced dates for closure of registration and draws. According to XtrymeSports.blogspot.com, Wednesday, 24th September has been set aside for closure for registration, while the following day, Thursday 25th September will be the draws, ahead of the kick off scheduled for September 28th. A statement signed by the Director General of the tournament, Comrade Dumeze Akuegbe and released on Thursday in Yenagoa says the venue for the draws will be at the Samson Siasia Sports Complex. He urges prospective teams to utilize the remaining days left to register for the competition, as no team will be entertained after closure of registration. *Maiden Edition of Osomkime Blankson Unity Football Tournament Kicks Off September 28* The Maiden edition of the Osomkime Blankson Unity Football Tournament for Yenagoa Local Government Area is set to kick off on Sunday, September 28, 2025.  Coach Ada Gwegwe, Technical Director of the tournament, made the announcement during a press briefing in Yenagoa on Thursday. According to Coach Gwegwe, the tournament aims to promote unity and development among youths in the community. He expressed gratitude to the tournament's sponsor, Hon.
