BAYELSA GOVERNMENT UNVEILS BOSSO, OGBONDA AS COACHES
Xtrymesports.blogspot.com reports that Ladan Bosso who was the coach of the U20 Male national team, is coming with wealth of experience as one time manager of Kano Pillars, Wiki Tourist of Bauchi, Abia Warriors, and Elkanemi Warriors. In 2012, he had his first instinct as coach of Bayelsa United and left the position in 2014 for Abia Warriors.
Whyte Ogbonda on his part broke his jinx when he won his first ever trophy with Rivers Angels last season, and had previously worked with Ibom Angels and Confluence Queens.
Speaking at the unveiling, Bayelsa Deputy Governor, Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo said the hiring of both coaches was imperative following the lackluster performance of bith teams last season.
He expressed confidence that the new coaches will bring their wealth of experience in going for the gong in the forthcoming season, and more importantly, get a Continental ticket.
Sports Development Commissioner, Daniel Igali, on his part, said the move will be beneficial to the state, adding that both teams at the moment require mire technicality in their style of play as well as results, so that trophies csn return to the State.
Coach Ladan Bosso and Whyte Ogbonda in their chat with newsmen expressed their readiness to return the confidence imposed on them by the government and people of the state.
