HON OSOMKIME BLANKSON UNITY  FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT: COACH ADA GWEGWE  HAIL ORGANIZERS 


As the medien edition of the Hon. Osomkime Blanckson  goes into the quarter finals stage at Famgbe community football field in the Yenagoa local government area, Bayelsa state, Former Technical Adviser of Ocean Boys FC and and one time Bayelsa United Chief Coach, Ada Gwegwe, has joined other football stakeholders to praise the organizers of the competition. 

A total of 12 teams in Atissa clan kicked off the competition few days ago, which has gotten to the semi finals stage.

Xtrymesports.blogspot.com reports that Coach Gwegwe stressed the need for more football and sporting competitions to be organized at the grassroot level so as to engage the minds of youths positively.
"If we must get it right in our football this is the only way out", Gwegwe said.
He added that the grassroots football tournament in Attisa will help in the development of grassroots in the clan and will help in identification of young talents. 
Gwegwe who praised the Coordinator of the tournament, Mr Akuegbe Dumeze aka big jaga,
called on all well meaning individuals to join hands together to support the organizers, as government alone cannot run the development of Sports. 
He also thanked Hon Osomkime Blanckson for the love and support given to the people of Epi Atissa.

10TH SENATE PRESIDENT UNITY CUP: STAGE SET FOR QUARTER FINALS The preliminary round of the ongoing 10th Senate President U-18 Boys Unity Cup came to a close on Matchday 4 on Wednesday, 13th November following the last set of group games.
