Al Riyadh of Saudi Arabia sensation, Joy Jerry says aside working hard for her team to win the league, she also has her eyes on the highest goal scorer award.
The former Bayelsa Queens skipper who was speaking exclusively with XtrymeSports.blogspot.com said her teammates are in high spirits and will stop at nothing to claim top spot and win the trophy this season.
At the end of the first stanza of the league, Al Riyadh FC trails table toppers, NEOM FC with ten points from fourteen games, while Riyadh FC is second with thirty two points.
With the second stanza resuming, Joy Jerry who won the Nigerian Women Football League with Bayelsa Queens and Edo Queens described the league as very tough, but interesting, expressing hopes to add the Saudi Division One league to her hauls.
Joy, who has netted twenty five goals so far this season, said, "It's going to be tough for my team and I but we have resolved to keep pushing till the end of the season, and for me, I will not relent in my goal scoring ability, and hopefully, I will finish top".
