FEMALE PROSPERITY CUP TOURNAMENT RECORDS HIGHEST NUMBER OF GOALS AS CRYSTAL STARS SCORE THIRTEEN UNREPLIED GOALS AGAINST GLOBAL STARS; AFINI LADIES ALSO PROGRESS

History was recorded in the female version of the Bayelsa Governor's Football Tournament otherwise known as the Prosperity Cup, as Crystal Stars Queens pummel Global Stars with thirteen unreplied goals, Xtrymesports.blogspot.com reports.

It was the second game of the day played on Wednesday, 30th April at the Kpansia center, with Crystal Stars making it a one-man show, as they run riot with goals althrough the encounter.

Dazzling winger, Mary Ayeloh who won the competition last year with Niger Delta University Queens, opened the flood of goals, scoring the fastest goal in the competition so far, as she slotted home just 13 seconds into the game.
Chizzy Praise made it two nil in the second minute, and scored her second goal with a beautiful lob in the sixth minute, as Mary Ayeloh increased her tally with a header in the 15th minute, while Olu Ifeoma scored a rocket from thirty yards.
Asingba Gloria's long shot was the sixth goal of the game, after a tik-tak with centre forward, Chizzy Praise.

Mary Ayeloh completed the rout with her third goal in the game in the 28th minute, to end the first half, and resumed the second half with her fourth goal, followed by Chizzy Praise's third goal of the game to make it nine goals to nil.
Olu Ifeoma recorded her second goal in the game, in the 39th minute, Mary Ayeloh scored her fifth later on, substitute Angela Joy increased the tally after her effort was bundled into the net by the goalkeeper, before Olu Ifeoma recorded her fourth goal, to complete the rout, making it thirteen goals to nil. 

Coach Nasiru of Global Stars said he was unperturbed by the scoreliine as almost all the players are very young, and were featuring in the competition for the first time, expressing hopes that they will play better next year.
Earlier in the first game, last year's third best team, Afini Ladies knocked out Jerry Queens FC two goals to nil, to progress to the next round.
Afini Ladies announced their presence just two minutes into the game as last year's Golden Boot winner, Blessing Anderson slotted home from close range after receiving a through pass from her team mate.
Blessing also had three more chances but couldn't convert them, with one hitting the woodwork, as the first half ended goalless.
Godgift Alex Koru doubled the lead at the resumption after connecting from Blessing Anderson's pass, a goal that our the game to bed.

Tomorrow, Thursday 1st May, the Kpansia center will also be busy as Akeddei Queens taking on BYSCON Queens at 3pm, while Niger Delta Queens will face Golden Sun Sports Club at 4:30pm
