10TH SENATE PRESIDENT U-18 UNITY CUP: SENATOR AHMED NINGI ENDORSES TOURNEY

In his bid to create more awareness on the forthcoming 10th Senate President Unity Cup, 2025, Tournament Coordinator, Hon. John Bassey Ekpenyong, on Thursday presented a customized tracksuit to Senator Ahmed Ningi, Chairman Senate Committee on Sports, in Abuja, XtrymeSports.blogsoot.com reports.

The Tournament Coordinator was accompanied by other committee members to the official presentation, among whom are the Chairman, Sponsorship, Marketing and Mobilization, Hon. Alhaji Ali Gombe, and Abuja Coordinator and Chairman Accommodations, Coach Sunny Apes.
Presenting the item alongside other materials to Senator Ningi, Hon. Ekpenyong said the organizers are leaving now stone unturned in ensuring a better and bigger competition than the previous edition held last year, hence the need to integrate all relevant stakeholders.

Hon. John Ekpenyong, Tournament Coordinator, went on to appoint him as "Grassroot Sports Ambassador", as he highlighted the significance of the event, as well as the Senate President's commitment to youth development. 
Receiving the items from the tournament organizers, Chairman Senate Committee on Sports, Senator Ahmed Ningi endorsed the 10th Senate President's U-18 Unity Cup, tagged "Renewed Hope", describing the vision as commendable.
The tournament, scheduled to take place in November, aims to promote unity, sports development, and talent identification among Nigerian youths. The event is expected to bring together young athletes from across the country, fostering healthy competition and unity.

OSOMKIME BLANKSON UNITY TOURNEY HOLDS DRAWS ***As Tournament Kicks Off November 20th Organisers of the maiden Osomkime Blankson Unity Football Tournament for Yenagoa Local Government Area have held the draws for the maiden edition of the tournament. A total of thirty five teams have registered to take part in the tourney that will kick off on the 20th of November, 2025. According to the organizers, the shift in date from September 28th to November 20th was necessitated due to pleas from players and officials owing to the incessant downpour, which will hinder free flow of football, and also deny them from showcasing their skills.
