OSOMKIME BLANKSON UNITY FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT: FOUR TEAMS PROGRESS TO NEXT ROUND


Ovom and Famgbe communities have booked their spot in the next round of the ongoing Osomkime Blankson Unity Football Tournament in Yenagoa, following the commencement of the group games on Monday.
Ovom defeated Akaba by two goals to one in the first fixture played at the Bishop Dimieri Grammar School, while Famgbe progressed 8-7 on penalties in the second game against Agbura after a tough encounter that ended in a barren draw.
On Tuesday 16th December, Edepie saw off Azikoro by two goals to one at the Biogbolo/Yenizue-gene field, while Agudama needed penalties to book their spot in the next round. 
The tie against Okutukutu ended in a two all draw, and in the shootout, Agudama defeated Okutukutu 3-2.
 Actions will continue on Wednesday, 17th December, Akenfa tackles Amarata at 2pm, as Biogbolo will lock horns with neighbors, Yenizue-gene at 4pm.

Both games will be played at the Kpansia centre.
